DIY 45 foot trellis for my organic vegetable garden – Part 1

45 feet long by 5 feet tall trellis. Made from reclaimed wood and a few store bought 2×4 posts. Total cost .00!! So happy with the way this is turning out so far! Trellis is made up of 1 x1 inch pieces of lumber which I received for FREE! The structure is held together with 1.5 inch ceramic coated deck screws. I originally was going to just lean the trellis up against the fence but thought better when I realized the amount of weight that the trellis may put on it. The final design was set as a vertical trellis so all the weight would be carried by the 2×4 posts I installed. The 2×4 are then attached to the 4×4 posts which hold my garden beds together.
